Simple and useful when mages Blink,or hunter using Disengage or other classes trying to kite you and are out of melee range.Also u have to be in Shadowstep range in order to appear behind enemie,otherwise macro will activate only shadowdance and U will have to Vanish and wait when shadowdance wears off.

Btw after activating Shadowdance new action bar(lower) will appear,it will be empty so u have to be quick and put ambush,kidney shot and any thing else that u might use while in Shadowdance

My key binds are q=ambush ,Shift+E=kidney shot E=gouge R=ruprute,but its enough having 1st and 2nd as ambush gives huge dmg burst

and other micro I use before combat
activate when stealthed
2x button push tho

/cast Slice and Dice

basically gives 2 combo points and activates slice and dice ,usefull against 33k+ HP or plated units

P.S. against low lvls

Against Mages I use as Sub rogue this macro,just spam the button

/cast Hemorrhage
/cast Rupture

Open with Cheap SHot,then spam with macro above.macro applies Hemo that adds couple combos,then Rupture uses them + Hemo from talent tree.
In total that gives a 30% more dmg from bleed effect(Hemorrage,talent tree), Hemorrage(ability), Rupture (1-3 combo) + Poisons(if they are applied)
In most cases Mages will use Blink to gain distance.The DoTs are applied so use #SS macro that I posted in previous post to appear behind them and stab them in they’re back,1 hit should be enough.Also this macro useful on assisting team mate.

Now.
I got a theory to use Gouge with Recupurate Gouge adds 1 combo,Recupurate uses it(5sec 974HP/3sec),enemy CC’d for 4 sec,give a bit of time to recover health (not much ,but still) and energy ,when vanish and Blind are on CD.(best use 1v1)
And that’s only a theory haven’t used yet,so plz if some will plz comment.

Main difference is you don’t hear the annoying sound messages.
(I actual use the same basic structure for any combo macros that might have one item on cooldown…etc).

Still my favorite macro of all time… nothing better than catching other Rogues and Kittys trying to sneak in.
