This was supposed to be a rogue PVE site but in the 2 months it took to launch the site after registering the name, I completely burned out on raiding. The name Lastrogue comes from standing in Dalaran about a month after WotLK launched and being the only rogue in /who. Being surrounded by DKs (and all the other classes that were destroying rogues at the time) made me a little worried about the future of the class I’d learned to love.

I’ve PVPed since March ’06 (with an 18month wowquit between seasons 9 and 11) and have way too many rogues. For season 13 I’ll be playing two rogues, both orc. Not my first choice of race, but rogues are very vulnerable to stuns at the moment so the orc racial and stun reduction meta are pretty useful to have.

When I’m not PVPing I’m usually either writing websites or teaching/enjoying snowboarding, there’s not much time for anything else.

A big thanks go out to the following;

Azshira-Illidan(US) – The Night Elf rogue who put the Fun into Funeral. Without this guy’s fraps I’d probably never have started playing WoW as the only videos I’d seen before were of dungeon runs. I’d been put off by the cartoonish graphics and the way little hobbit things turned goblins into sheep.

Chubasco-Trollbane(EU) – Charismatic officer from ONIX guild on Trollbane, gave me tons of encouragement and the best advice I ever received during an MC run many years ago – “You need to press your buttons faster”.

Chrystie-Trollbane(EU) – The first Gladiator I was in a guild with, gave some great advice.

Bmx-Chromaggus(EU) – The first guy I spoke to on Chromaggus, absolute star and evil little PVPer.

Cragrock-Terenas(EU) – Cheers for getting me to return to WoW buddy! I hate you so much 😉

Rogue addict, PVP junkie, insomniac. I started playing WoW in 2006 and, after being told that 'nobody wants a rogue', tried to level a priest. I quickly realized that love and approval were a poor alternative to stealth and ambush and have been backstabbing away quite happily ever since.
